How to Create a Personal Task in Scale B.O.S.S.

Learn how to manage your personal workflow by creating new items and adding task details within Scale B.O.S.S. This guide walks you through setting priorities, assigning to-dos, and organizing your board to streamline your process.

Board Navigation

1. Navigate to https://app.scaleboss.ai

2. Select Charters from the left navigation menu.

3. Click the My Board tab.

Item Configuration

4. Click + New Item to create a new personal task.

5. Enter the name of your task in the Title field.

6. Click the Description field and enter the relevant details.

7. Set the sub-status.

8. Tasks are automatically assigned to you since this is your personal Kanban board. To include additional team members, click the assignment buttons below to assign the task to others as well.

Checklist Management

9. Navigate to the To-Dos tab.

10. Add a to-do item for this task. By default, to-dos are assigned to you. To reassign a to-do to a specific team member, select them from the options below.

11. Continue adding additional to-do items as needed.

Status and Priority Finalization

12. Select a priority level for the task.

13. Select a status for the task.

14. Click the X icon to close the item details drawer.

15. Confirm that the newly created task appears in the To Do column.
